Welcome to My New Site!

I wanted to create a site that had both my blog and my website in one place. So here it is! I’m still working on it, and hopefully within a few days it will contain everything that I need it to!  I think this format works great, and all of my important info is in one place. My old blog still exixts, but from now on, I will be posting predominantly on this one.

Oil Spills LookBook

Here is my Spring/Summer 2013 collection, Oil Spills.

I never officially released it at the time, due to real life distractions, and the fact that after I sold most of the samples, I lost enthusiasm for the collection. This could be why the collection lacks the big crazy showpieces that are my personal bread and butter. Maybe at some point I might revisit the theme, and execute some of the more ambitious designs for it in my sketchbook, though chances are, I’ll probably incorporate those into my next collections somehow.

Despite my never releasing the collection, this lookbook shoot was one of the most fun shoots I’ve ever done! Models, Hair and makeup were everything I could have asked for, and I regret that these photos were not more publicized.

One of the awesome results of participating in NY Couture Fashion Week in February was being able to meet and work with Leonid Gurevich, a really wonderful stylist and designer. It is always great to meet someone with a similar aesthetic, and I can only hope to work with him many more times in the future!
